Bayern Munich, like every other club in Europe, is currently signing new players in preparation for the upcoming football season. As of now, the club has signed two new players, both of whom will play for Bayern Munich next season....CONTINUE READING
Bayern Munich signed Ryan Gravenberch, a 20-year-old midfielder from Ajax FC, to a five-year contract, ensuring that he will play for the club until 2027.
Noussair Mazraoui, a new defender from Ajax FC, has also been signed by Bayern Munich and will play for them in the 2022/23 football season. This means Bayern Munich signed two Ajax players this summer, one as a midfielder and the other as a defender.
However, while the summer transfer window is still open, there’s a claim that Bayern Munich is putting in a lot of effort to recruit Liverpool forward Sadio Mane, and based on recent information, the club is on the verge of doing so.
This indicates that Bayern Munich still has a transfer objective, and if the transaction is completed, Bayern Munich’s starting lineup will improve.
If Bayern Munich signs all of their transfer targets, we will witness their strongest team ahead of the 2019 football season. Because two of the club’s transfer objectives (Mazraoui and Gravenberch) have already been signed, Sadio Mane remains the only option.
So, here is Bayern Munich’s prospective (and strongest) roster for the 2022/23 football season, if they sign all of their transfer targets:
• Manuel Neuer will be the club’s “primary” goalkeeper next season because he is still the club’s goalie.
• Mazraoui, the new defender, will play defense alongside Upamecano, Hernandez, and Alphonso Davies.
• Thomas Muller, Joshua Kimmich, and new midfielder Ryan Gravenberch will play in the midfield.
• Finally, Serge Gnabry, Kingsley Conan, and Sadio Mane (assuming he is eventually signed) will be the forwards.
