According to Mayo clinic, staphylococcus aurus is a common bacteria that can be found in the skin and nose of even healthy individuals.

It may not cause serious problems when they are found in the skin,but when they find their way into the blood stream they may cause a serious health challenge.

According to Mayo clinic, staphylococcus aurus which is known for skin and soft tissue infections may cause the following sicknesses when they find their way into our blood stream.

1. Bacteremia.

This is also known as blood stream infection. It occurs when staph infection enters the blood stream. The bacteria may attack major organs such as brain, heart and bones. The major symptoms of bacteremia is fever and low blood pressure.

2. Toxic shock syndrome.

According to Mayo clinic, toxic shock syndrome is a life threatening condition resulting from toxins produced by certain strains of staph bacteria. They have been linked with certain types of tampons, skin wounds and surgery.

It usually develop suddenly with the following symptoms, high fever, nausea and vomiting, rash in the palms, confusion and stomach ache etc,

3. Septic arthritis.

Staph infections may give rise in septic arthritis that normally attack the joints of the knees, hip, shoulder and even the fingers and toes.

4. Skin and soft tissue Infections.
