The friend asked her to terminate the pregnancy, but she did not do it, and months later, the friend gave birth. A Kenyan woman, @hannahnoons, has advised women to be wary of the advice they are given by their friends.
The woman noted that women should take their friend’s advice with a pinch of salt since some were misguided. “It is not every advice that you take, whether you think someone is wise or not.”
How she found out friend was pregnant
@hannanoons narrated how she got pregnant at 20 and sought advice from a friend. The friend asked her to terminate the pregnancy.
“I got pregnant at 20. When you don’t know better, you don’t do better. At that age ni you think our parents know nothing and your friends are lit. Kuna friend mmoja alikuwa ananiambia, mboya hiyo kitu inakusumbua? Uko na thao 6 nikutafutie pill (There is a friend who asked me why my pregnancy disturbed me. She aksed me whether I had KSh 6,000 so that she can get me a pill to terminante my pregnancy.)
I got my baby on September 22, and she got her baby in the second week of August, which means hii time yote ananiambia nitoe ball, alikuwa na mimba. (This whole time she was asking me to terminate my pregancy she was also pregnant) I still don’t know if she was my friend.”
She also noted that not all friends had someone’s interest at heart. The TikToker told women to turn to God for their troubles rather than friends.
“There is this habit of running to your friends leave it. There is a woman who did not accept the advances of a certain guy because he did not have a car. Right now, the guy has a car, and he does not want her anymore.
