The Egyptians were already extracting iron over 2000 years ago, which is odd because mining this rich metal required sophisticated machines, which were not present 2000 years ago.

This particular iron, on the other hand, is said to have been discovered in meteorite debris that fell from the sky. They planned to employ a meteorite that had fallen from the sky. According to Egyptian hieroglyphs, iron meant “metal from the sky,” and it was this metal that was used to produce beads and other metals.

2. They were the first to come up with the idea of toothpaste.

The Egyptians started manufacturing toothpaste as early as 5000 BC. They’d blend a variety of powders, one of which being eggshells that had been burned to make ashes. These individuals had to be geniuses. This basic information was even used and developed in the past, and of course, we can no longer clean our teeth with ash.

Antibiotics were first used in Egypt, and from there they evolved into what we have today. Even though antibiotics were not formally invented until the twentieth century, the Egyptians possessed their antibiotics. They used to use it to treat wounds and it worked wonders.

4. Egypt was home to the world’s first police force.

Did you know that Egypt was the birthplace of the police force? We’re not talking about the literary here; we’re talking about cops. This occurred between 2050 and 1700 BC. Among the police officers were devoted fighters and even hired foreign mercenaries.

Egypt’s police force was formed as early as 2000BC, they had dogs and monkeys. They were in charge of temple security as well as the safety of the upper crust. The only difference was that the modern police used monkeys as well.

5. Egypt was the first country to make beer.

Did you know that the workmen who built the Egyptian pyramids were paid with approximately 5 liters of beer per day? And this was back in the year 2000 BC. Egyptians are credited with being the world’s first beer producers and the first to produce the beverage.

6. They performed sophisticated bodily procedures.

The Egyptians’ medical understanding was on a whole new level. It is comparable to several modern medical procedures. Scientists discovered surgical operations on some of the ancient mummies during their examination.

7. Padlocks were present

While doors were not significant in other ancient societies, the Egyptians not only had doors but also invented padlocks. Wooden locks were used by the Egyptians.

8. They also had optometrists who could treat eyes.

The eye is one of the most delicate and important components of the human body. Treatment of the eyes needs specialized knowledge, and it’s hard to think that Egyptians were treating eyes as early as 2000 BC.
