According to the announcement on Southampton Football club’s website, they have parted ways with their manager, Ralph Hasenhuttl. His dismissal followed their 4 goals to 1 loss to Newcastle United at home.
The club are currently anguishing in the relegation zone in 18th place having won just once in their last nine games. They have only won just three times this season.

Hasenhuttl had been in charge of the club since December 2018 when he succeeded Mark Hughes. Southampton announced that first team assistant Richard Kitzbichler had also departed.
The club also announced that first team lead Coach Rubén Sellés will take charge of the side on an interim basis for their game on Wednesday night. The club will be announcing a permanent replacement in due course.
