What Does Your Discharge Mean?

1. Clear, stretchy discharge – if you notice or start seeing a clear and stretchy discharge, it is most likely due to the fact that you’re ovulating. It’s usually nothing to worry about, when a woman is ovulating, she may see clear, stretchy discharges from the genital.

2. Brown or bloody discharge – if you see this type of discharge immediately after your period, then it is normal but if you see it when you are not even menstruating, then it could mean you have fibroids, cervical cancer etc.

3. A white Discharge – Considered Normal if it is a bit white and also spotted at the beginning or ending of your period but if you notice a thick white discharge accompanied by itching and other disturbing signs or symptoms, then it could be due to yeast infection and the earlier you get treated, the better for you.

4. Clear and watery discharge – considered healthy and may appear at anytime of the month. You may also notice it more often after a heavy exercise.

4. Yellow or green discharge – considered unhealthy and dangerous especially if it has a foul smell. Trichomoniasis and other sexually transmitted infections may be responsible for this.
