One area that have excited the Chelsea supporters is the attacking department with the addition of Raheem Sterling, Jao Felix, Mykhailo Mudryk and the impending Christopher Nkunku all been the source of joy for the blues faithfuls.
Another area where the Chelsea owners are doing well is in the defensive department, Thiago Silva, Cesar Azpilicueta and Kalidou Koulibaly are above 30 and could be getting close to their last days in blue colour, the Chelsea board know this and have acted swiftly.
They have signed Marc Cucurella who is relatively young but the future nucleus of that team seems to be centred on five defenders who are just 23 years and under, they are Levi Colwil, Benoit Badiashile, Wesley Fofana, Trevoh Chalobah and youngster Humphrey.
Chelsea spent big to buy Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile while the trio of Trevoh Chalobah, Humphrey and Levi Colwil are from the academy, they are looking ready to stake a claim in the defence, Thiago Silva, Cesar Azpilicueta and possibly Kalidou Koulibaly will leave a vacuum in Chelsea defence soon.
These five will definitely step up and fill the vacuum and will help Chelsea dominate in European competitions for decades.
