Both sides are now set to face each other on Saturday at Anfield in what is going to be their 61st Premier league meeting in the top flight since 1992.

1- Liverpool 1 vs 1 Chelsea (28 August 2021)

Liverpool marked their final match at Anfield with a 5-3 victory over Chelsea, to equal the record of 18 home wins in a Premier league campaign.

4- Liverpool 2 vs 0 Chelsea (14 April 2019)

Two goals in three minutes, including an incredible strike from Mohamed Salah, helped Liverpool return to the top of the Premier League with a 2-0 win against top-four chasing Chelsea.

5- Liverpool 1 vs 1 Chelsea (25 November 2017)

A late goal from Willian earned Chelsea a 1-1 draw against Liverpool at Anfield. The substitute hit a cross-cum-shot that beat Simon Mignolet with five minutes remaining to cancel out Mohamed Salah’s goal against his former club.

As seen above, Chelsea have only won one of their last five meetings with Liverpool at Anfield losing twice and drawing twice in the process.
