Arsenal will play Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium for their 35th Premier League game on Sunday, putting them firmly in the business end of the season.
This is squeaky bum time, as Sir Alex Ferguson famously put it. The Gunners are obviously not competing for the league title, but it is the biggest and only goal they have left for the season.
The focus is naturally on a mouthwatering North London Derby on matchday 36, however the significance of that game might shift considerably depending on how the next round of fixtures goes.
Leicester City vs Everton

The Foxes were knocked out of European competition after a 1-0 second-leg semi-final loss to Roma, while the Toffees most recently defeated Chelsea by the same scoreline.
Leicester’s domestic fortunes have taken a turn for the worst as they pursue their European ambitions, but the Foxes have now gone six games without a win in all competitions, losing 3-1 to Tottenham Hotspur in their most recent Premier League match.
The 11th-placed Foxes would need extraordinary conditions to break into the top seven now, with a 10-point gap between them and West Ham United, despite having games in hand on practically all of the teams around them.
Manchester City vs Newcastle
When Newcastle City comes to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, Manchester City must get back into the swing of things right immediately.
Following Wednesday night’s stunning Champions League loss to Real Madrid, Pep Guardiola knows that any slip-up in the following four games might be fatal in the title chase, leaving him without a trophy for the first time since the summer of 2017.
City has a terrific home record against Newcastle, but Eddie Howe’s side is in fine form and will be hoping to put a marker down ahead of next season, when they may be challenging further up the league.
