Going into the game, the Blues were tipped to emerge victorious in the game due to the long history of home win records against Leeds United.

Chelsea dominated the game from the start, taking control of the midfield. They notched numerous crosses into their opponent’s box which presented good chances for them to score but they couldn’t find the back of the net in the first half.

Luckily or deservingly for the Blues, they took the lead in the second half via a beautiful set-piece. Their victory over Leeds United didn’t change their position on the log but they got all three points.

After a hard-fought victory at home over Leeds United, Chelsea will head over to the King Power stadium next week to take on Leicester City in their next league match.

A look at Chelsea’s next four matches in all competitions certainly says a lot about the work that lie ahead for Graham Potter and his boys.

1. CHELSEA VS BORUSSIA DORTMUND: After failing to take over the driving seat dfurin their away trip to Germany, the Blues have a score to settle with Borussia Dortmund. The Blue will play host to their German counterparts for the second leg of their UCL encounter at Stamford Bridge.

The match is scheduled for the 7th of March, 2023. Based on aggregate scores, Dortmund lead by 1-0, thanks to Adeyemi’s solo goal.

4. CHELSEA VS ASTON VILLA: Aston Villa will take on Chelsea on the 1st of April, 2023.
