Chelsea confirmed the arrival of two new players on the summer transfer window deadline day. The two new arrivals are Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang and Denis Zakaria.

The former makes a return to the English Premier League from Barcelona on a permanent deal while Denis Zakaria switched from Juventus to Stamford Bridge on a season long loan deal. Aubameyang is likely to lead the line for Thomas Tuchel’s side while Raheem Sterling who joined the club from Manchester City will start on the left wing.

The Blues also confirmed the permanent transfer of one of their central midfielders to Brighton and they sent out several young players on loan to other clubs for a first team experience and playing time.
