In addition, Kiggundu has constructed a remarkable futuristic modern home located on the outskirts of Uganda, overlooking the beautiful Lake Victoria. The house sits on 11 acres of land and is estimated to cost over Sh. 3.8 billion.

In an interview with Youtube Wode Maya, the Ugandan tycoon gave a house tour of his multi-billion house. He says that he drew his inspiration for the project from movies he’s seen on TV screens.

“It is a lovely house like the ones we always watch in movies. I built it to show you can make it big in Africa.” “We can do what we want and dream of in Africa. You don’t have to leave Africa to live like this,” he noted.

When standing in any direction inside the mansion, the captivating view of Lake Victoria is always present. There are no neighbours present.

When asked about his decision to build the house next to the lake, Ham jokingly replied, “Water is life.” Tucked on the lakeside, this majestic mansion boasts luxurious amenities fit for royalty only.

From a private dock, and helipad to an Olympic-sized swimming pool, basketball courts and a football stadium, 11 acres couldn’t have been built to any better perfection.

A stroll through the well-manicured gardens adorned with vibrant flowers and lush greenery, you can’t help but be captivated by the sheer grandeur of this architectural masterpiece.

Hamis Kiggundu has numerous jet skis and boats that he uses to cruise around the lake during his free time. Asked to give advice to young people who want to live large like him, Ham revealed that hard work was the driving force behind it all.

“I wouldn’t advise anyone to look for deals. I would advise anyone to work hard for businesses because deals are temporary, short term and fast.”

“But businesses are, yes slow, but becoming rich is all about a constant productive chain. If someone can be productive, that’s what amounts to wealth.”

Ham’s driveway can accommodate a fleet of cars, with ample parking space for tens of vehicles. Among the eight cars he owns are a Porsche, Mercedes Benz, Bentley, and Toyota Land Cruiser.

Despite owning luxurious cars, Hamis maintains that any car can get him from point A to B, no matter how cheap it is.

“A car is a liability. You spend on it. It has no return on investment,” he said. In the same manner, Hamis also considers his mega-mansion as a liability.

“If you had an option of building a business, or buying a house, go for the business. The business can give you the house, but the house can’t give you the business,” Hamis explained.

Inside the Mansion

The 38-year-old disclosed that he had been living in the mansion for the last 10 years. He built the house when he was 28 years, and has only been expanding since.

Hamis’ mansion interior is breathtaking, adorned with sleek ultra-modern fittings in a classic black and white colour scheme.

He states he has always been a fan of the monochromatic palette. Hamis’ vision for building his impressive mansion was made possible by his entrepreneurial spirit. He started his first business at 22 years of age.

The house boasts five elegant sitting rooms, a lavish 20-seater dining table, and a state-of-the-art kitchen. The entertainment options are endless, with a game room featuring both pool and table tennis tables.

“The house has six bedrooms, a gym, cinema, sauna and steam room. One entire wing is my bedroom – I like space.”

Despite having a mansion with numerous rooms, Hamis lives alone. His bedroom boasts two beds, one soft and the other a hard bed, a reception desk, an executive office, his own sitting room, a walk-in closet, and CCTV camera monitors.

Hamis employs 4,000 people, and his businesses enable him to sustain his lifestyle and maintain the grandeur of his home. He has no regrets about building the magnificent house.

“I worked so hard to ensure I can afford it. I have substantial investments that can maintain it. It is not only about building a big house but maintaining it…CONTINUE READING>>
