Recall that According to a report from Tribune newspaper, It’s reveals that some northern power bloc are considering of presenting a young candidate to win the 2023 presidential election, in order to avoid multiple presidential aspirants that might divide the vote of the north in 2023.
In regards to this, there is Two major Factors that may be considered by some Northern Power bloc to pick the executive governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello as the presidential candidate of the party, in the 2023 Presidential election, Since the report from the leadership newspaper, have shows that he have declared his intention to run for President in 2023, through senator Smart Adeyemi who represented Governor Yahaya Bello at a campaign group called the Global Alliance of Progressive Professionals.
1. His Age which makes him one of the youngest governor in Nigeria
Since the executive governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello is one of the youngest I’m Nigeria because of his Age, it may influence the some Northern power Bloc to consider picking him as their Presidential candidate in 2023, just to ensure that the present a young Presidential candidate from the north in 2023.
2. Agitation for North Central 2023 presidency
Since the North Central where Yahaya Bello hail from are Agitating for the 2023 presidency based on the fact that the zone is yet to lead the country since 1999, it may influence some Northern Power bloc to consider picking Yahaya Bello as their Presidential candidate in 2023, just to ensure that a young candidate from the North Central also become a president in Nigeria
