This report emerged following Todd’s visit to Portugal and his (Boehly’s) meeting with Ronaldo’s agent in which Boehly inquired about the possibility of snapping Cristiano Ronaldo from the grasp of Manchester United.
But there is every penchant that Cristiano Ronaldo would snub a move to Chelsea.
Reason:
Cristiano Ronaldo is committed to Manchester United and would not like to taint his relationship with Manchester United: Cristiano Ronaldo would not like to witness his relationship with Manchester United being turned sour because of a move to Chelsea.
Because as it stands now, Manchester United football club is in dire need of the services of the Portuguese talisman. Moreover, Cristiano Ronaldo would not want to jeopardize the love and support he enjoys from Manchester United’s fans across the continent.
Moving over to Chelsea football club would only erupt hatred by Manchester United’s fans, who might boo him (Ronaldo) during matches. And when this happens, it might also affect some legacies Cristiano Ronaldo created at Old Trafford during the regime of sir Alex Ferguson. And Cristiano Ronaldo might not be willing to sacrifice such.
