Secret weapon of FC Barcelona raises Pablo Torre to Real Madrid
The Spanish midfielder signed a four years contract with the Catalans with Barcelona including a a buyout clause of 100 million euros in his contract.
Barcelona released an official statement on their website to confirm the signing of Pablo Torre from Racing Santander.
“This Wednesday was Pablo Torre’s first day in blaugrana as he signed his contract with FC Barcelona and got to wear his new shirt in the Camp Nou for the first time. He has signed a contract until 30 June 2026, with a buyout clause of 100 million euros,” the club confirmed.
“He put pen to paper in the company of president Joan Laporta, vice-president for sport Rafael Yuste, director of football Mateu Alemany, the president of Barça B Jordi Casals, the director responsible for youth football Joan Soler and the director of youth football José Ramon Alexanko.
“Pablo Torre was also joined by his agent Arturo Canales and various members of his family, including his parents, who wanted to be there for such a special day.
“After signing, Torre (who has also signed up as a Barça member) got kitted out in the Barça uniform and enjoyed his traditional first touches of the ball on the Camp Nou pitch.”
