Two of the stars that were affected by this change in the number assigned to jerseys were Argentine forward, Lionel Messi and Brazilian winger, Neymar Jr.
Lionel Messi wore the Paris Saint Germain’s number 10 jersey. The number 10 jersey has always been worn Neymar Jr. This will be the first time Lionel Messi has won the number 10 jersey for another club rather than Barcelona football club.
Neymar Jr on the hand switched to the numbed 11 jersey. This arranged now means that Neymar and Messi played with the jersey they were known for during their days in Barcelona.
Other players who were affected by this change are: Donnarumma who changed from number 99 to number 1, Vitinha changed from number 17 to number 7 (which is usually won by Mbappe), Danilo changed from number 15 to number 9, Nuno Mendez from number 25 to number 3. From the entire starting 11, it can be observed that the team maintained a jersey number from 1 to 11.
