Two of the most exciting matches were the North London derby (Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur) and the Manchester Derby (Manchester City vs Manchester United).

Talking about the North London derby, Arsenal scored the first goal through Thomas Partey before Harry Kane equalized for Tottenham Hotspur.

It didn’t take long before Gabriel Jesus gave Arsenal the lead again, and Granit Xhaka extended it to 3-1 minutes later.

The Manchester Derby was more exciting as there was a downpour of 9 goals during the game. Two goals each from Erling Haaland and Phil Foden saw Manchester United trail 4-0 at half time.

At the start of the second half, a long range shot from Anthony Santos saw Manchester United grab one back, before one extra goal from Haaland and Foden saw them complete their hat tricks and give Manchester City a 6-1 lead.

Minutes later, Anthony Martial was brought on and he scored two goals to make the scoreline more respectable and make the match end 6-3 at the Etihad stadium.

Currently, Arsenal are on top of the table with 21 points from 8 games, while Manchester City are second with 20 points from 8 games.

Arsenal’s next meeting will be against Liverpool while Tottenham Hotspur will play their next game against Brighton. Manchester City will face Southampton next while Manchester United will face Everton next.
