Nunes purportedly approached the teller, indicating that the man wished to obtain a loan amounting to 17,000 reais ($3,250). Despite her efforts to prompt the man to sign the necessary documents, it became apparent that he had been dead for several hours.
In the video footage, Nunes can be seen holding a pen and attempting to guide the man’s hand, urging him to sign. She was heard addressing him as “Uncle” and insisting, “You need to sign.”
“He doesn’t say anything, that’s just how he is,” she stated suggesting she would sign on his behalf if necessary.
“If you’re not okay, I’m going to take you to the hospital,” she added
Bank staff grew suspicious as the man showed no signs of responsiveness, with his head continuously drooping backward. Consequently, they alerted the authorities, leading to Nunes’ immediate arrest on charges of fraud.
Following the incident, the deceased individual was transported to the morgue.
