– 1985/86 First Division Golden Boot

– 1985/86 FWA Footballer of the Year

When Barça signed Gary Lineker, they signed one of the most prolific strikers in world football.

Romario:

Romario’s record for PSV was ridiculous:

– 167 games

– 165 goals

– 6x trophies

– 3x Eredivisie Golden Boot

– 1x UCL Top Scorer.

What did he win in his first season with Barcelona? Pichichi Trophy and LaLiga champion.

Ronaldo:

After scoring 54 goals in 57 games for PSV, Ronaldo joined Barcelona for a then-world-record fee in 1996:

Patrick Kluivert is the youngest scorer in UCL final history and was incredibly consistent for Barcelona:

– 98/99: 16 goals

– 99/00: 25 goals

– 00/01: 25 goals

– 01/02: 25 goals

Not quite a treble, but it’s not bad at all.

In 2008/09, Henry scored 26 goals as Barça became the first Spanish side to win the Treble.

His Barcelona career was cruelly cut short, but he did score against Real Madrid.
