Over time, there has been speculations surrounding the disparity between the Parisien attacking trio of Lionel Messi, Neymar Junior and Kylian Mbappe where it was suspected that the three have not been playing together as teammates rather they displayed their individual brilliance which is not working out fine for the team despite having good results in most games.

However, it was noted that Neymar Junior and Lionel Messi shared a very great bond between them just like their old days way back in Barcelona where they were best of friends with only Kylian Mbappe been the odd one out of the three of them.

This has been a bone of contention considering the fact that the Frenchman is presumably seen as the powerhouse of the team and seems to enjoy that individual glory in all games.

The former AS Monaco star was missing all through the pre-season games as well as there French Super Cup final against Nantes and the same was the scenario in their league opener against Clermont, and the team did pretty well in his absence with nothing to worry about considering the level at which they all played as one against the opponents.

However, things changed the other way round upon making his return to the team in the last weekend which was his first appearance of the season and Paris Saint Germain’s second league game of their title-defence campaign against Montpellier.

Kylian Mbappe’s attitude and behaviour in his first game has left so many fans disturbed as he was accused of having a shock attitude when he appeared to have stop running while his team was at the attacking advantage because a player decided not to pass the ball to him.

The tempo got more intensed following the decision on who to take penalty from the spot as it was seen that the first awarded penalty was played by Kylian Mbappe which he failed to convert before another one was awarded shortly after which was taken and converted by Neymar Junior.

The scenario between these two suggest the need for urgent and utmost action to be taken by new manager Christophe Galtier so as to fix the team the earlier the better before the season gets so busy.

Kylian Mbappe was at the verge to take the second awarded penalty which Neymar Junior refused vehemently and Mbappe’s body language all through the game was something else, as he was spotted being the only one at the centre field during the water break in the course of the match.

His action of distancing himself from other teammates says it all with the height of it been physical confrontation in the dressing room which needed the intervention of Sergio Ramos, who was forced to step in to separate feuding pair Neymar Junior and Kylian Mbappe.

Thierry Henry in his recent comment made it known that Kylian Mbappe has nothing to prove to anyone despite the fans accusations.

Thierry Henry:

“How Galtier will find the way to play all three and keep them happy … Good luck. At PSG, there is always a debate, a problem. They won 5-2 and we’re talking about Mbappé. Last year, it was Neymar and it will always be like that, it’s PSG.”
