On a secluded island, some graphic images that surfaced online and went viral on social media seem to capture the moment Akbar Salubiro was extracted from the reptile’s stomach.
The 25-year-old reportedly left on Sunday night to work harvesting palm oil on the Indonesian island of West Sulawesi, according to The Sun UK. However, worried friends and family started looking for him the following evening when he failed to return home.
It was discovered on Monday night that the python had a massive bulge in its tummy and was laying in Akbar’s back garden. The villagers gathered around as one man cut up the serpent with an 18-inch hunting knife, claiming to have discovered Akbar’s body within.
Amazing video captures the leathery skin of the killer reptile being peeled off of the dead body as it is slowly extracted.
While speaking with a correpondent, a neighbour identified as Satriawan who knew Akbar said: “He was found in the location of the garden. Initially Akbar set out from his home to go to harvest palm, after not returning to his home people looked for him.’’
The local media stated that they thought Akbar was attacked from behind and that Munu, Akbar’s wife, was abroad at the time and didn’t find out until she saw images and footage in the press.
Village secretary, Salubiro Junaidi said: “People had heard cries from the palm grove the night before Akbar was found in the snake’s stomach.
“When the snake was captured, the boots Akbar was wearing were clearly visible in the stomach of the snake. Resident cut open the belly of the snake and Akbar was lifeless..<<CONTINUE READING>>
