If you witness someone getting electrocuted, it is important to act quickly and follow these steps to help save the person’s life:

1. Cut off the source of electricity

If the person is still in contact with the electrical source, you must cut off the electricity as quickly as possible. This could involve turning off the power at the source, unplugging the device, or using a non-conductive object (such as a wooden broom handle) to separate the person from the source.

2. Call for emergency medical help

Dial 911 or your local emergency number and explain the situation to the operator. Stay on the line and follow their instructions.

3 Check for breathing and pulse

If the person is not breathing or has no pulse, begin CPR immediately. If you are not trained in CPR, tell the operator on the phone and they will provide instructions.

4. Keep the person warm
