Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation revealed this after the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi called for the cancellation of the presidential election which was held on the 25th of February, 2023.
Peter Obi, a former Governor of Anambra State has inaugurated his legal team to challenge the victory of the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Peter Obi claimed that the election results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission were manipulated in favour of the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate.
Reacting to the development, Femi Fani-Kayode said; “Why do Nigeria politicians call for the annulment of a free & fair election after losing & for the scrapping of the Electoral Commission that conducted it? Zik did so after Shagari’s 1979 election, Nzeribe did so after Abiola’s 1993 election & Obi did so after BAT’s 2023 election.”
