Chelsea head coach started with a very strong lineup which featured Lukaku in the attack. The coach also started star players like Hudson Odoi and Ziyech in the attack. In the midfield, we saw a combination of Mason Mount, Kovacic, and Jorginho. The defense comprised Sarr, Thiago Silva, Rudiger, and Azpilicueta.
In the first half of the match, Chelsea and Tottenham were unable to score a goal as it ended in a 0-0 draw. Later on, in the second half of the match, Chelsea scored a goal in the 46th minute to make the scoreline 1-0.
Chelsea mounted pressure on the Tottenham team as they were keen on getting another goal. They created some goal-scoring chances which paid off in the 54th minute as Thiago Silva scored the second goal of the encounter. The match then ended in a 2-0 win for Chelsea.
