It was quite an eventful day in the race for the premier league golden boot yesterday, with some contenders adding to their tally and some failing to score.
It all began in the Merseyside Derby where the previous season joint top scorer, Salah continued his poor goalscoring run in Liverpool’s goalless draw against Everton.
The race continued in the London Derby between Chelsea and West Ham where Raheem Sterling who is currently on three goals, failed to add to his tally despite Chelsea defeating West Ham 2-1.
Kane and Mitrovic continued their fine goalscoring run as they both registered a goal each in the London Derby between Tottenham and Fulham.
Haaland added a goal to his tally to make it 10 goals he has scored so far this season, moving clear off his opponents.
Meanwhile, Toney scored a hat-trick in Brentford’s 5-2 victory over Leeds United.
