Real Madrid players have completed their first training session ahead of Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League opener against Celtic.
Los Blancos regrouped at Valdebebas training ground on Sunday afternoon after their impressive 2-1 win over Real Betis in their last Spanish La Liga game on Saturday at Santiago Bernabeu. The team kicked off the training session with a recovery stretch before they proceeded to physical and tactical activities with full instructions from the coaching staff.
Among the players spotted in training with Real Madrid on Sunday include Ferland Mendy, David Alaba, Vicius Jnr, Rodrygo, Toni Kroos, Nacho Fernandez, Eden Hazard, Federico Valverde, Antonio Rudiger, and Luka Modric.
Real Madrid will be seeking to continue with their superb form in the new campaign when they travel to Scotland to face Celtic on Tuesday in the 2022-23 UEFA Champions League game. The reigning champions will be looking for a victory over the Scottish team to begin the competition on a remarkable note.
