With his technical abilities and pressing game fitting well with Mikel Arteta’s vision, Timber has long been on Arsenal’s radar.

He brings valuable experience, having won two Eredivisie titles with Ajax and being part of the victorious Dutch team in the 2018 European U17 Championship.

Having previously worked under Ajax coach Erik ten Hag, Timber’s reunion with his former manager at Manchester United was rumored last summer. However, he ultimately chose to join Arsenal.
