First up, Chelsea will face Aston Villa, who are currently in 11th place with same points as Chelsea, at Stanford Bridge on March 25th. Aston Villa have had a mixed season so far, but they are always a formidable opponent, especially away.
In addition to the challenge posed by Aston Villa, Chelsea will face a tough fixture against Liverpool. Although Liverpool has had a relatively inconsistent season, they have the potential to cause an upset, especially if they are able to field a strong starting XI. Liverpool also have a good record against Chelsea in recent years.
Another factor that could come into play is Chelsea’s busy schedule. This could result in fatigue and potentially lead to a dip in performance against Liverpool and United.
While it’s too early to say for certain whether Chelsea will drop points in these fixtures, they will undoubtedly be challenging tests for the team.
However, with a squad as talented as Chelsea’s, they have the potential to come out on top in both matches and maintain their position at the top of the Premier League table.
