Meanwhile, the Governor’s official spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, has been elevated from Chief Press Secretary to Director General, Media and Publicity.

Among those appointed are Hon. Rabi’u Saleh Gwarzo, who will serve as Permanent Commissioner I of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) and Engr. Sarki Ahmad takes the helm as Director General of the Rural Access and Mobility Project.

Other key appointments include Hon. Surajo Imam Dala as Director General of Cottage Trade and Street Hawking, Dr. Dahiru Saleh Muhammad as Executive Secretary of the Science and Technical Schools Board, and Abubakar Adamu Rano as Deputy Managing Director of Radio Kano.

Additionally, key media roles have been filled with Hajiya Hauwa Isah Ibrahim joining ARTV as Deputy Managing Director and Dr. Gaddafi Sani Shehu assuming the position of Deputy Managing Director at the Kano Hydro Electricity Development Company (KHEDCO).

The Governor also announced the appointment of 13 special advisers. Among them are Dr. Ibrahim Garba Muhammad (Human Resources), Hon. Dankaka Hussain Bebeji (Deputy Governor’s Office), Chief Chukwuma Innocent Ogbu (Igbo Community), Abdussalam Abdullateef (Yoruba Community), and Mr. Andrew Ma’aji (Northern Minority).

Further appointments include Usman Bala (State Affairs), Hajiya A’in Jafaru Fagge (Positive Propaganda), Hon. Isah Musa Kumurya (Marshals), Dr. Naziru Halliru (Budget and Economic Planning), and Barr. Maimuna Umar Sharifai (Community Policing).

Completing the list are Hon. Danladi Karfi (Transportation), Gwani Muhammad Auwal Mukhtar (Inter-Party Relations), and Ada’u Lawan (Cabinet Office).
