The club supporters expect the team to get back on track after they struggled last season to win games. Mauricio Pochettino’s side played five friendly games this summer and they didn’t lose a single one of them.

They won three games and had two draws indicating how good they are turning into under the Argentine boss. He has been transforming the team into an interesting team to watch again which can see him become successful in the coming seasons.

Chelsea ended their last pre-season match in a 1-1 draw which was again Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund. They were impressing the game and they were unlucky not to beat Dortmund despite being in control of the match.

The London-based club will be hoping to get good results against Liverpool on Sunday who are also trying to get their form back. It will be difficult to predict the favorite team to win the game.

However, Chelsea has faced a big blow after their nee summer signing Christopher Nkunku has been ruled out for four weeks due to injury. The Frenchman suffered a knee injury against Matt Himmels in Borussia Dortmund’s game last season.

He underwent surgery and will be out for quite a period and he will be a big miss to the team. Nkunku has been an important player for Chelsea this summer after he joined them for a £52m fee.
