Our goal in life should be to figure out how to avoid the pain and suffering we experience during sickness. Once you recover from a sickness, make it a goal never to go into that sickness again.

However, you have to play your part in having the proper diet and lifestyle. The following are the things you can do to avoid falling sick:

1. According to Healthline, you should eliminate from your diet all items that cause or promote disease. Start incorporating healthy foods and healthy habits into your life.

2. Start drinking plenty of clean water daily. The larger percentage of your body is made up of water, so you must never become dehydrated.

3. The issue of exercise is something we cannot do without. It’s part of healthy living. Whatever you have to do to overcome your inability to exercise, you have to do it.

4. You also need adequate sleep every day and adequate rest whenever you are tired. You need to find time to sleep enough. Eliminate, or at least minimize, stress and tension in your life.

5. Eliminate toxic emotions. If anybody on earth has offended you, you have to forgive and let go. As long as you keep such people in your heart, you’re damaging your health.

6. Ensure that you breathe fresh air regularly by avoiding polluted air. Make sure you receive adequate sunshine on your body.

There’s something that the sun does to your health; it helps you produce vitamin D. It also helps to inhibit the growth of tumors in the body.

7. Learn to laugh, be happy and rejoice with people around you. Have fun and enjoy your life. Stop wearing long faces and frowning.

It takes more muscles to frown than it takes to laugh. You can go for laughter therapy.

This is what some comedians will do for you. Each time you laugh, your body releases certain chemicals into your system that are both antidepressants and analgesics.

They are pain killers and they boost your mood. The Bible even teaches us in Proverbs chapter 17 verse 22 that laughter is good for your body, just like medicine.
