POLITICS NIGERIA reports that speaking on Tuesday evening on Channels TV’s Politics Today, the former Imo State governor expressed his belief and conviction that President Muhammadu Buhari would not impose anybody on the party.

“He (Jonathan) will contest like

any other person (at the primary). Nobody is afraid or scared. There will be nothing like consensus candidate.

That is not likely to happen because the President Buhari that I know will consider certain factors to do that,” Okorocha said.

In the past few weeks, the rumours that Jonathan can defect to the APC to dream of being president in 2023 has intensified. Jonathan, who served as the President of Nigeria from 2010 to 2015, has asked his supporters to “watch out”.
