1. Make a point of making your visit memorable.
It won’t be fun to just hang out with your lover in his house and not have fun, especially if his family lives with him. Don’t just sit there and watch him do his thing by himself.
Cooking for him or his family will be enjoyable and unforgettable. It will be more enjoyable if you do it with him and it shows how hardworking you are.
Watch movies with him, dance with him, play games with him, eat and drink with him. You can bring some refreshments around to show that you’ve thought of everything.
But, before you do anything else, make sure you research his personality. If he lives with his relatives, attempt to figure out what kind of people they are. This will help you comprehend what you should and shouldn’t do. But, above all, make sure that your visit is one to remember.
2. Dress flexibly.
You don’t need to dress up unless you’ve already decided to attend a party or club. Get yourself a simple, decent and free outfit that will make you feel at ease at his home without creating more attention from other people.
You are not required to wear revealing gowns, high-priced shoes, or expensive jewelry. All you have to do now is appear presentable. Remember that first impressions count.
3. Get ready to comply with a set of rules and follow them.
Some households have a set of house rules that they follow. These restrictions are not as scary as they appear at first glance. All you have to do now is follow along. When you are corrected, do not become enraged or anxious.
4. If you plan to spend up to or more than a day, bring some clothes and other necessary materials with you.
You won’t need much in his apartment, but if you plan on staying over, you may need to bring some critical items with you. Your toothbrush, paste, soap, sponge, cream and other items may be crucial this shows how responsible you are.
5. Try not to make any judgments about the house, no matter how clean or dirty it is.
