Amid rising insecurity, Wakanow Travel Agency has introduced trips with escorts but at an exorbitant rate.

This period of the year is known for travels as many Lagos-based indigenes of the South East return to their villages to celebrate the festivity with their loved ones.

However, the rising insecurity has been a cause for concern among many across the country.

Amid this concern, Waka Now introduced services from Lagos to South Eastern State, announcing that travellers will be charged N320,000.

According to the agency, the money covers transportation in a Toyota Hilux vehicle, a driver and two mobile police officers as escorts.

But the N320,000 is just for a single trip as the return leg costs another N320,000. It also offered N260,000 per day for travel within the South East, and the package includes commuting in a Toyota Hilux vehicle, with a driver and two police escorts.
