The APC candidate, Usman Ododo, was proclaimed the winner of the November 11 governorship election in the state by the Independent National Electoral Commission. The PDP governorship candidate, who finished third in the poll, alleged on Wednesday that the judiciary is no longer independent and has become a department of the APC.

According to the PDP Kogi State Governorship candidate, the common statement that the judiciary is the final chance for aggrieved individuals is now an empty slogan since the judiciary is gradually becoming Nigeria’s lost hope.
