Babachir Lawal has lamented over the implication of the Muslim ticket and how it poses a threat to Northern Christians. He has expressly stated that he and the people in his camp are not going to support the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the forthcoming election.
Seun Okinbaloye tried to quiz Babachir Lawal on why he’s totally against the APC Muslim-Muslim ticket. Babachir Lawal stated that they have endured so many humiliations in the past in which they want to finally put an end to them by bringing unity and co-existence back to the North region.
He said, ”Religion is a consideration in this case. If you go to any Federal Government offices in Abuja, you will find Christians grumbling.
They complain that they are not promoted because they are Christians, you don’t get contract because you are a Christian. All this has to stop if we want to unite the country and the APC Muslim-Muslim ticket does not offer that solution.”
