Former Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmier is on target as West Ham comes from behind to beat FCSB 3-1 in their Europa Conference League Group B opener.

David Moyes’s side dominated possession for most of the first half but conceded 34th minute into the fixture in London Stadium when Andrei Cordea scored at the far post.

Emerson left Chelsea last month for a fellow London Premier League club and struck from close range to make it 2-1 in the 74th minute before Michail Antonio scored a late third to wrap up the matchday one encounter in England.

West Ham has made a poor start to the Premier League season with just one win in six games but this was their third successive win in Europe after victories in qualifying.
