Gachagua paid tribute to his sister by recognizing her role as the leader of the Gachagua family after their parents’ passing. The deputy president also extended his deepest condolences to his late sister’s husband, children, and grandchildren.
Gachagua, who candidly acknowledged having a challenging week, stated that his sister’s death made the situation worse for him.
He concluded his statement by asking God to heal the country and all families. Gachagua did not disclose the cause of his sister’s death in his statement. In September 2022, TUKO.co.ke reported that Gachagua expressed sorrow after the death of his elder brother.
