In a personally signed statement made public on Monday 20th of March in Osogbo, Adeleke referred to the results of the Oyo governorship election as a “strong vote of confidence” in Makinde’s work over the previous four years.
Acccording To Daily Post Nigeria report, The declaration made on Monday 20th March urged closer cooperation in social and economic matters between the two states also referred to them as Siamese twins, As you may recall, in July 2022, Governor Seyi Makinde also congratulated Adeleke, who was then the governor-elect of Osun State, on his victory in the state’s gubernatorial election.
