Raheem Sterling, a talented winger for Manchester City and England, was introduced as a new Blues player on Wednesday, and Chelsea have since swung into action in the transfer market.

Senior players like Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen have joined the two top Spanish teams, while the futures of Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta are in doubt for the Stamford Bridge team.

Romelu Lukaku has returned to Inter Milan on loan, and Hakim Ziyech has been linked with a transfer to AC Milan in the attack.

Injuries have plagued Christian Pulisic frequently, and Timo Werner has struggled to make an impact in front of goal.

Raheem Sterling is being acquired for this reason. The attacking puzzle is not finished, though.

Raphinha’s refusal to join Chelsea is a well-known fact. This means that Ziyech, who hasn’t really asserted a claim to the position, needs to be freed up on that flank by a left-footed winger.

Two more players are still needed to complete the puzzle, and Victor Osimhen of Nigeria, should be the next attacking player Chelsea should sign.

The Napoli striker is a member of the group of contemporary attackers known as “physical playmakers.” He possesses excellent ball control and excellent combination play, which enable him to move the attackers forward during calm play.

Combining with Raheem Sterling, who is an expert in one-on-one situations and half-spaces thanks to his re-education under Pep Guardiola, is a mouthwatering prospect.

It is unsettling to imagine Sterling’s dribbles and last-line shattering passes with a scoring machine like Osimhen.

If the third component is added, Chelsea’s offense, which already includes players like Mason Mount, Christian Pulisic, Kai Havertz, Mateo Kovacic, and others, may become one of the greatest in the league and one of the best in Europe.

Osimhen’s rumored asking price of 100 million euros is a little bit high, but the Blues can try to bargain it down.
