The second half was quite a boring one as both sides were unable to add to the score sheet, ending the game 0-2 in favour of Manchester United.
Also by that time, Real Sociedad hosted Omonia, hoping to maintain their winning run following a victory against Manchester United at the Old Trafford. A late goal from Sorloth sealed all points for the home team as they ended the game 2-1.
