Tottenham Hotspur luckily qualified to the next stage following a dramatic night of football that had 3 Teams top the Group D table before the final whistle.

Mbemba’s 45th minute strike had put host, Marseille in front but Tottenham’s equaliser in the 9th minute of the second half secured hope for visitors from England as the scoreline turned 1-1.

Just before the end of the game, around the 5th minute of added time Hojberg scored the winning goal for Spurs to make it 1-2 as the English Club sailed through like a dream of the night to condemn Marseille to their exit.

Frankfurt’s win over Sporting Lisbon in Portugal also drove the Germans to 2nd on Group D table to earn them 10 points.

Thanks to kamada and Kolo Muani for the win is Lisbon. Both Tottenham Hotspur and Frankfurt are now through to the next round.

Liverpool qualified for the Round of 16 from the second position following their win over Napoli on the last Group Game.

By virtue of goals and head to head, Napoli finished tops of Group A with 15 points as Liverpool while Ajax only managed 6 points in the Group for a trial in the Europa League.
