The last 16 tie against Benfica takes place in Portugal on Tuesday night and Club Brugge will need a miracle to keep their Champions League ambitions alive.

After losing to Liverpool in the last quarter of the 2021-22 season, Benfica will be able to advance to the quarter-finals of the Champions League back-to-back for the first time in its 119-year history.

However, the Portuguese powerhouse have yet to progress to the first-division semi-finals. Bayern Munich and Liverpool defeated Benfica in the 2020 Champions League at the Dar Lutz Stadium.
