Manchester United have joined Bayern Munich in the race to sign Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo. The 24-year-old is much sought-after by a number of European clubs after impressing at Barcelona and United are the latest to show interest in Araujo, according to Sky Germany.
United have made a formal enquiry to Barcelona for the centre-back, who is valued at £69million. The Catalan giants are not willing to part ways for anything less than that figure.
Arsenal lining up move for Michael Olise
Arsenal are reportedly among the clubs ‘lining up’ to sign Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise. The forward has been a standout player for the Eagles, with his displays attracting plenty of interest. HITC reports that Olise is ‘set to leave’ Palace in the summer but has not chosen his next club.
Arsenal are said to have made ‘enquiries’ but face competition from the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Chelsea It is said that Olise has release clause in excess of £50m but it does not become active until the summer, which is why a January deal is not under consideration.

Barcelona will prioritize signing 18-year-old Royal Antwerp midfielder Arthur Vermeeren, a target for Manchester United, as the successor to Sergio Busquets.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes , Arthur Vermeeren is the subject of interest from Barcelona. The Catalan giants view the 18-year-old as the priority candidate to be the long-term successor to Sergio. The Royal Antwerp midfield sensation is also a target for Manchester United.
