Burnley have loaned defender Bobby Thomas to League One side Barnsley for the remainder of the season, after his stint at Bristol Rovers was terminated.

The 21-year-old scored three goals in 26 games in the first half of the season before the Championship side recalled him from Memorial Stadium. Thomas is reunited at Barnsley with former Burnley Under-21s boss Michael Duff, who is in charge at Oakwell.

Done deal: Jake Young joins Barrow

Bradford City have loaned forward Jake Young to fellow League Two side Barrow for the rest of the season. The 21-year-old has been with the Bantams since his move from Forest Green Rovers last summer, scoring four goals in 12 appearances.

Young spent time at Guiseley and Sheffield United before joining Forest Green, where he scored a total of 12 goals in 62 games in two seasons.

Chelsea and Arsenal to compete for Yunus Musah

Chelsea and Arsenal are set to compete for the signature of Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah according to Fabrizio Romano via Caughtoffside. The journalist said, “Onto other possible targets, a summer move is very possible for Yunus Musah.

Inter, Chelsea and Arsenal are following him closely, but then it’s still January so let’s see if some other clubs will join the race in the next months.”
