The Spain international has established himself as a first team starter at Barcelona despite his old age. Busquets is nearing the end of his playing career but has been in top form ever since Xavi took charge.

The 34 year old has been linked with a move out of Barcelona but he’s yet to decide on his future. Despite the uncertainty sorrounding his future at Barcelona, Busquets wants to help his teammates for the rest of the season.

“I do not know (about my future) and I would not say it at a press conference. Don’t ask me anymore because I’m not going to say it, I always put the team or a title before a personal decision.”

This shows that Busquets is yet to decide on his future and the 34 year old may continue playing for Barcelona. Xavi is reportedly willing to continue working with Busquets and the 34 year old midfielder may extend his stay at Barcelona.
