She doesn’t shout or scold him as if he is incompetent
She doesn’t belittle him when he is down or going through loss
She corrects him lovingly in private; away from the children and the public
She doesn’t announce to people the things she has done for him and how he would be nothing without her
She brings to attention his few weaknesses without forgetting his many strengths
She doesn’t give him silent treatment to punish him
She doesn’t say hurtful things just because she is mad
She acknowledges his good traits in private and in public
She doesn’t do mean things to teach him a lesson
She suggests instead of ordering
She doesn’t treat him well only when the pastor or in-laws are watching. Her treatment is consistent, not a show
