According to Sahara Reporters report, Justice John Okoro, the chairman of the seven-member panel of judges made this disclosure on Monday, during the court proceedings. He went on and made it known that the supreme court can’t rely on the two conflicting letters.
Justice John Okoro said: “But in this case, there are two conflicting letters from the CSU – one authenticating the president’s certificate and another discrediting it. Which do we rely on?”
It should be recalled that the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, had requested President Tinubu’s academic record from Chicago State University in order to substantiate his claim that the president had submitted fraudulent documents to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
