However, Nigeria is the favorite to win on Monday as São Tomé and Príncipe have lost each of their last 11 games in all competitions.
Kick Off Time
The match is set to kick off at 14:00 pm West African Standard Time and will mark the 1st meeting between these two sides in history.
Team News
Jose Peseiro has been handed a major boost ahead of the contest on Monday, with the midfielder Innocent Bonke returning to training.
Bonke has missed the Super Eagles’ last two games due to the injury he sustained in the friendly 2-1 defeat against Mexico last month.
Nevertheless, Nigeria head coach Jose Peseiro should have a well-stocked squad to contest on Monday, with William Troost-Ekong the only expected absentee after the defender sustained an injury against Sierra Leone last weekend.
In contrast, the host has no Injury concerns and is set to take on the Super Eagles.
