This could be a yellow card or a red card depending on how serious the infringement is.

This Premier League season, it has proven to the the same so far. In fact, after just 6 games, players have taken many cards for their team. You would think that after just 6 games out of 36, not an alarming number of should have been given.

However, after going through this list here on Calistosports, you will understand better. In fact, a top 6 club that played on Sunday is at the top of the list. It will shock you to know the team.

Below is a list of 7 clubs with the most yellow cards this season.

7. Leeds United

At 7th spot is Leeds United. So far this season, Leeds United have earned themselves 13 yellow cards in just 6 games. They have one more than Chelsea and many others. The club receives at least 2 yellow cards per game.

6. Tottenham

Tottenham hotspur as a club have been booked on 14 occasions this season. Like Leeds United, they are averaging more than 2 per game.

5. Everton

The next club on the list is Everton. Frank Lampard’s team so far have the same number of yellow cards as Tottenham, 14.

4. Aston Villa

The club that comes after Everton for now is Aston Villa. This is a club managed by Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard. So far, his team has earned 15 yellow cards in 6 games.

3. Fulham

With 17 yellow cards so far, Fulham are one of the clubs with he most yellow cards so far. The club earned nearly 3 yellow cards per game in their opening 6 games.

2. Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest may have caused one or two upsets already, but that they are second on this list is probably normal for a promotion team. Still, shipping in 18 yellow cards in 6 games should call for concern.

1. Manchester United

Surprisingly, Manchester United tops the list at the moment. It is a bad list the club should not be topping but that’s the reality. By averaging more than 3 yellow cards per game, Manchester United tops the yellow card chart with 20 yellow cards in 6 games.

Clearly, Erik ten Hag has a lot of work to do at Manchester United. Adam Smith, Paulhinha and Scott McTominay already have 4 yellow cards each. They will serve a match ban if they get another one before December ends. As it stands, at this rate, they could earn it in their next match.
